Shevah Weiss

Born in 1935 in Poland. Holocaust survivor, lives in Israel.
In 1985 returned for the first time to Poland, as a member of the Knesset (Israel’s parliament) with a group of Mengale’s Children survivors that traveled to Poland to commemorate 40 years to the liberation of the Auschwitz.
PhD. in Political Science, served as chairman speaker of the 13th Knesset, Israel’s ambassador in Poland and president of the Yad Vashem Council.
